Abstract	"Die Dissertation dokumentiert die Ansätze der AG 'Für den Frieden' zur Unterstützung der Emanzipation der Sinti und Roma. Die Dissertation betritt wissenschaftliches Neuland, indem sie unter den Vorzeichen der Kritischen Theorie und mit den Mitteln der qualitativen Sozialforschung: a) rassistische bzw. antiziganistische Diskurse der Gegenwart analysiert; b) die Minderheit der Sinti und Roma im Rahmen aktueller politischer, gesellschaftlicher, kultureller und ethisch-moralischer Prozesse thematisiert; c) die politische, gesellschaftliche, kulturelle und pädagogische Praxis der AG 'Für den Frieden' als Instrument gegenwärtiger Emanzipationsdiskurse untersucht; d) innovative und nachhaltige Denk- und Handlungsmuster schulischer und politischer bzw. gesellschaftlicher Prozesse systematisiert und für die zukünftige Praxis zur Verfügung stellt." (Autorenreferat). "The dissertation describes the activities of the workshop 'Go for Peace' in Rastede in an effort to assist the emancipation of the Sinti and Roma. The dissertation breaks new ground using methods of critical theory and qualitative research, respectivley, and by: a) analysing racist and 'anti-ziganic' discussions in our time; b) talking about the Sinti and Roma in the framework of current practice political, social, cultural and ethical processes; c) examining the political, social, cultural and educational practice of the workshop 'Go for Peace' as an instrument for modern discourses on emancipation; d) systematizing innovative and sustainable ways of thinking and working in the school environment and in other political and social processes as well as making these accessible to others for future activities."
